So my mate the mechanic is scrapping a golf with a  1.9 TDI - AGR Conversion, the specs are

66 kilowatts (90 PS; 89 bhp) @ 3,750 rpm; 210 newton metres (155 lbf·ft) @ 1,900 rpm — AGR, AHH, ALE, ALH

How easy a swop is it , consideing i have the entiore donor vehicle?

It's easy fitting it.

It's the wiring and gearbox that are cunts along with fabbing engine mount and down pipe.

Think I asked before but nobody replied - do they go in vertical or is there a sump/ oil pump conversion for 55 degrees, as easy disco pump conversion would make these a good mtdi.

AGR will go in but you need to fabricate new mounts and sump as this engine is the later chain driven oil pump block ( same as 1.8 20v and all 4 pot PD lumps, ) there is little point using it as a 1z/ahu and Sharan AFN go straight in using o.e mounts and sump
