'82 aircooled panel van

Looks like my business venture is getting a cash boost from family, so i'm going to be needing to get a tow vehicle in place of the van for a bit. I might actually say goodbye to it this time.......

She's a 1982 panel van, mostly original, not been welded as far as i can see, engine has been rebuilt about 2 years ago at same time as respray, done approx 15k since then, did a compression test at the weekend whilst checking some running issues, all cylinders at 135psi. Running problems were caused by "pooh" HT leads.

Just about to have a service, parts are waiting for 5 mins to do it, as i said it has been resprayed on the outside in bright orange (same as g4 landrovers), inside is a mix of original white, grey primer and silver hammerite. Has a set of wellers fitted which were painted same time as body. Interior wise is pretty bare have done a couple of bits n pieces but not been 100% on layout so no major works done. Had new tyres, new brake lines (solid and flexi's) for MOT which has 8 months remaining. One of antiroll bar links have snapped, trying to find a replacement now have new bushes for them waiting to go on.

It could do with the sliding door repaired and a bit of work on drivers sill. Would make a good day van or as i have done up till now a work van.

Looking for £1350ovno, i'm not in any rush to sell. Would do a deal on a diesel T4, landrover discovery/90/110 that needs work.
