CDl not working

   Hi. Looking for some help and advice.
My  usually reliable T4 Multivan (2.5tdi 2000) threw a strop this morning.
After opening whilst unloading it suddenly locked itself. we unlocked and carried on but after locking her up she opened all the doors again. Seemed to get confused and some locks opened and some didn't then dead. Wont even work off the key. We have checked the remote battery, the fuse and checked for a code ( not with vag com ). Nowt! I assume the convenience module has failed but would be happy for any input as to what has happened. I know this unit is under the seat on my T5 but where is it on the T4 as nothing under its seat. Is this an easy fix? Expensive? Will keys / van need coding after fix? Sorry for all the questions but really needing some guidance. Thanks in advance.

	Ok, Getting there. Everything else comfort module does works! Found fuse 10 lower line gone. Replaced and all doors except slider trying to work. If its open wont lock and if we manually lock it wont open any door but is making effort and the right noises except slider. Cleaned all the contacts. Am now thinking actuator on slider fubered. Does any one concur before I try to strip the door card off. Quite chuffed with myself ( being a woman) so far. Any leccy boffins help here please.
