I appreciate its not a VW- but please help us find this van and the gentleman who drives it.

STOLEN: 20 pet hens and turkeys from a

sanctuary in Coventry.

This vehicle was parked by the fence at the time of the theft and West Midlands Police would like to

positively identify the van and its owners to help with the investigation.

It is a long wheel base, semi high top, Transit or Ducato type van. The colour is not clear, but it's definitely

not white. It has a very distinctive circular logo on the left rear door with large lettering in it

(perhaps FOW, POW, FOM, POM?) then a few more words level with the handle, just above its reg plate.

The right rear door has a spike or spire at the top, then a business name or address above two phone numbers,

with a reflective plate or sticker at the bottom.

The police need the registration number, business name or the address of the owner.

Please pass this on to your friends, we hope that If enough people print out and keep the image in their cars,

we will find this van. If you recognise or see the van, do not approach the driver,

please just note down the details the police need, then call:

West Midlands Police on 101, (crime number 20CV/70452J/13) and us on 07806 924969

There is a £2,000 reward for safe return or information leading to conviction.

We know we may not see our hens again, but we would like to see these thieves caught.

turn on, tune up, drop it.

Bastards. whats the matter with some people. Sadly you can only imagine the fate of those birds. The culprit needs to be found and given a right royal f**king.Angry

Shit, sorry to hear Ian. There are some proper arseholes around.

I'll keep an eye out here around Warwick, and get the missus to keep an eye out on her way in and out of Cov.

The birds are of negligible financial value, mainly the damaged or ill battery hens that weren't well enough to home to people on rescue day. The turkeys were both over 5 years old , so even a wild dog would need to be real hungry .   Just pointless I'm afraid.
