Hi all,

new T3 owner getting familiar.

having trouble identifying source of an oil leak, a possible power steering leak and an unidentified pipe needs replacing. Have made a short video showing points.

Not experienced with engines but learning slowly.

hello and welcome

The red fluid is engine coolant, clean it off and look fir where it’s coming from , the rubber hoses are coolant hoses

The oil leak , I would suspect the oil pressure switch

The air intake manifold that is part of the exhaust ( but only directs heat not exhaust gasses ) is to direct warm/ hot air to the air filter fir better running in very cold climates

You can weld it back or leave it

ditto:

would concur.

clean it all and then you can spot more easily where things come from -

the T3 haynes manual is also your friend - goes from easy basic routine maintenance as a starter (with the specs for correct fluids etc) all the way to an engine rebuild if you're feeling adventurous.

good luck !

Big help, ordered the oil pressure switches and have an idea of where the coolant is coming from.

Learning as I go👍
