wonder if anyones ever used the old 2.3/2.8 ford v6 engines? they're nice and short and were pretty reliable.

i used to like the smoothness in the old granada i had so would be interested to hear if anyones shoe horned one into a bus?

I've seen a few of those about...in fact there was one on eBay last week....i think?

Why not got for a 24V V6 Cosworth motor instead.....they rock..even if it does say F*rd on it.

I used to have a Panel van with one of those things stuck out back...it was fookin mental

There's plenty of Cossy Grandads about for not a lot of cash as well.

hi steve

i reckon the power would pull the van to bits m8

my aircooled is fine at the mo but with them getting rarer and the ford v6 being a good un i just wondered if it had been done.

not bothered about power as i have a hayabusa for that

axel winkler will sell you the conversion for a ford v6 engine but beware these engines are really heavy , and not that powerfull the 2.8 fits  the t3 engine bay loads better than the 2.9  both need the engine lid raising  up,, better off using a  new   bellhousing, than  a adapter plate , if you dont want the pulleys  sticking through the  rear valance,   the only one really worth  having is the cosworth 2.9,  but beware cosworth replacement parts are not cheap,
looking for a b32 can anyone help me make it 3
