this is a very good site for all VW related bus parts www.vwbusshop.de

Peter Günzl (the owner) bought all the residual stock and parts from Westfalia when production stopped. It is quite easy to navigate , however it could be easier for you to call him direct or maybe send him a picture of the item so that there is no confusion. You can also pay by PayPal.
cheers

For all types of seals (claytonrite, door seals, window seals etc etc) these guys are really good.  If they don't have what you need give them a call and they can probably sort something out by sticking various seals together etc.

This link details the changing of the timing belt on the D24T engine. Note the Volvo link - Volvo 240/740 cars had the VW D24T engine fitted. Spares can be tracked down via Volvo dealerships as a last resort.

UpShift: "It lives once again!" Volvo D24t timing belt replacement update

The Volvo discussion group has some info on the D24T engine also - worth a trawl

From reading through the posts on here Drew, you generally find that common parts (those that wear out quickly) are readily available from VW service garages and auto parts suppliers. VagCat is an online databse for VW Parts and don't rule out searching through Amazon (Bosch Water Pumps were a surprise find here) and FleaBay is always worth a search. I recently got a battery from Batteries for Car Van, Leisure, Caravan and Motorhome Batteries with Free UK Delivery and brake spares were readily available from Brake Parts Superstore (UK) . Lots of useful links above also.
