Now that I've source all the parts and tools I'm going to have a go and set up my motor.
A couple of questions though: Is it better to remove the injectors so that the motor can be turned over easier? What's the best way of turning the motor over? I know the easiest is by the nut on the end of the cam but that might not be the best/safest way. |

No, don't remove the injectors.
I usually turn from diesel pump pulley cos it's easy and convenient! This might be naughty though!

Make sure you use the the nut on the end of the crank to turn it over, sometimes you can wiggle a socket and ratchet in between the pulley and the silencer!! If not drop the silencer off, the cam and pump won't be correctly lined up if you don't as the belt tensions incorrectly.
