bought a mk2 van off work Dead
 
 
has been stood for 3 years and had rats living in it Confused
 
a quick wash and a set of r10's later..
 
sorted the missing gear linkage, new battery, ecu fault and got it running
a set of clear indicators , bonnet bra,  sort the lights and mot'd LOL
 
 
 
PRIASE THE LOWERED !!! Clap
FRONT BEFORE :-
 
AFTER :-
 
After cracking the sump in the yard !!!! Cry
repaired and strengthened
 
had to raise it up abit
then hit the rear with the lowering stick
 
what you think ????

my van seems to have blitzed a drive shaft C/V joint already
has anyone else had any problems ???

the inner c/v let go on the way to work yesterday, just wondering if anyone else has this problem or heard of it ????

Well after quite a few breakdowns :-  c/v's inner and outer, 3 x sumps
finally getting some miles under it now...

be careful how much u lower the front as the alloy sump just cracks and doesn't give at all!!

That's a really nice van you've got. I must admit that I liked it with your works logos on it better. Did your work make you remove them as it's not their vehicle now?

work and pressure from the missus :(
i had to take 'em off, even tho' work were happy to sell it to me with 'em on, they soon change their mind when i put it back on the road.
