Nice one. Now lock it up somewhere safe! Your red badboy might turn up as it's early days yet - they can't hide it forever, it's far too distinctive.

Time to organize a Grossefenster gathering eh Charlie?
Have I missed anything?

Tried to put microbus to bed but you wont believe this, it didnt fit the garage, 6 inches taller than the caravelle! So now safely parked away off the road.

Drove the 200 mile without a hint of any problems, lucky as it was after 3:00am when I arrived home. I've owned a microbus before and was quite surprised to find that this bus has power steering.Smile No aircon but the heater works, well sort of, needs a thermostat. One owner from new, only 140,000 kms, body very good except for the odd rust hole.Thumbs Down Not bad for a '91. Came from your way Bath.

I remember seeing it in Bath a few years ago.Always parked round the back of a small garage business, possibly well maintain by a mechanic for some of it's life in the UK then? I think many of the SA buses came into UK at the Avonmouth port in Bristol. Not sure why they stayed tho? Someone did say a company in or near Bristol was importing them a few years ago. I can't confirm this or never saw them advertised. I don't think it would have been Beetles UK who bring in the Brazilian T2s.
