STOLEN VAN East London..FOUND!!

Lovely topic for my first post on here, but please help!

Last night between 0030 and 0300 our van was stolen from outside our house on 
Handley Road in Hackney. There is no broken glass or sign of the theft. I'd been 
working on the van all day yesterday, and have no doubt in my mind that all the 
doors were locked and windows up with nothing of instant value on show.

The registration is C943 WLX. It's an '86 panel van, yellow on the lower 
and white on the upper with a white side opening Westfalia pop-top. He is stock 
height with stock wheels, has 'angel' headlights and clear front sidelights. The 
dash has a sticker collage in the dipped section. He has a brown Westfalia camping
interior, laminate flooring, yellow, blue and red checked curtains and a DVD player
mounted above the bed. 

This van is our only escape from London and the relentless take, take, take
attitude of the people that live here. The financial loss of this van pales in
significance to the blood, sweat and laughter he has brought us.

Please keep your eyes peeled for him.

I've printed off one of the pictures, I'll keep it to hand as I work in Hackney and I'm driving about quite a bit.  I'll keep my eyes open.

Yes, spotted in yard with another T3. Apparently there was a few Golfs in there too so 'professsionals' (probably)

Eeerm, I didn't mean I spotted them, I meant they had been spotted by someone else who reported it

Yes the news is true! The Chuckle Bus has been found and recovered and is currently in a pound being forensically probed (oo er). As far as we could tell when we went to find him after a tip-off from a fellow 80-90er he is all in tact and healthy. We are yet to find out whether our stuff is still inside or whether the ignition/locks need sorting.
