hi, i've had a bit of an ongoing problem with my caddy for just over a week.the oil light comes on and the power drops slightly, but very intermitant and random.
i borrowed a friends vag com today and brought this up: 01170 fuel injection duration sensor (g175) 29/10 short to ground intermitant. i've had a look around the pump at wires, plugs etc and cant seem to find anything. any ideas or anything i can check?im pretty new to dielsels. |

Sounds a little odd. How long does the light stay on for ? And how long does the power drop for ?
Did the same errors re-occur after you cleared them ? Maybe check on voltage when this happens - VW control units can do all sorts of weird things when they receive too high (or too low) a voltage (often caused by faulty alternator or regulator). |
