that diagram is for a 2e with 45 pin ecu, they also came with 38pin.just got one running this morning it has 45 pin with no cold start valve and a charcoal filter.

I took them all from golfs, had a glance at a passat and that was different.
What was yours from? |

I have pin data and diagram for that if you need it.
3 rows of pins but only 2 rows used? Listed as Digifant ML 5.9

thats the 1 ive worked it out now cheers for the offer .easy way to spot the difference when on the car is the connector on the ecu the 38 pin has a metal clip holding it on the 45 has the plastic slide.

Hi,
I am just on my first 2e install. All good so far. Your info here for the Wiring will be handy but if you have the pin out data for the ecu I would be grateful. Like you have described my ECU has three rows of connectors but pins only on 2 rows. Cheers if you/anyone has the time to reply. |
