high torque diesel

   can anyone tell me what a high torque 2.4td is, and how it differs from the 95 bhp 2.4td diesel fitted to my 1994 LT? I thought the engine in mine was the last of the range.

	From what i can find on the the net here goes there seems to be 6 2.4diesel engines . 2.4d code dw 55kw 2.4td code dv 75kw 2.4td code 1g 68kw 2.4td code 1s 51kw 2.4td code acl 70kw 2.4d code act 51kw 1989 was fitted with dw-dv-1g 1989-91 was dw-dv-1g-1s 1992 was dw-dv-1g-1s-acl-act 1993-95 was acl-act So i dont know what the high torque model is mines a dv engine but its not a high torque?

	the high torque was a ACL motor with factory intercooler,made 70 kw but from about 1000 rpm rather than much higher up like the rest of the td's,if you ever get a chance to drive one there brill,its the engine of choice,cj.

	Thanks Vanorak.Mine's a 1994 ACL with intercooler developing 75kw- does that make it a high torque then?
