Sometime back I purchased a 1-way fuel filter for my LT35, I was reliably informed by many to place it nearest the top of the fuel line as I could as it would prevent fuel slipping back into the tank, I am the worlds worst mechanic, but even then I thought that common sense would say `put it further down`, well, I put it where the experts said, and it made no difference, had a chap come round last week who said, `Nope, you put that at the bottom, before the pump`, ten mins later and a quids worth of pipeline, i fixed it, and it HAS made a great difference to starting. just thought i would share that.... John.
