Noticed during a trawl through an engine code list, that there was a YS code engine, 1.6ltr 4 pot, fitted to Passat and Audi 80 around 79/80 that was rated at 110 hp !! Wondered how they achieved this, anyone seen or heard of this motor??  ------------- Sunny Lancs |

if its an early 80's 1.6 then it will be the same as a golf gti lump.
