seems to be down again, 
the yard never seems to go down so being a net numpty what are they doing thats different

Can't answer that Mike, but my daily routine, sss, breakie, coffee, fag, emails and 80-90, is out of kilter again Confused

I'll just have to take the dog out earlier than usual, and that will confuse him too Confused

not being fluffy and child friendly for the politically correct keeps the number of posts down, thats 8090s problem too many posts, database too big

I maintain six servers and well over 2,000 websites. They can go offline for all kinds of reasons but maybe I should dump investigating when theres a breakdown and just use a crystal ball. Geek

By look of error its a server/mysql lockup. Thats not uncommon and can be caused by other sites on the same server using code that goes into a loop.

It's up now but being maintained for another 5 mins

Must be our very lax Admins and nothing to do with size, massive foreign interest and 1000 bot visits per night. .. apart from that and a constant need to prune & archive to our very famous Tech Archive & Wikipedia.. nothing different :-)

Oh yup was the firewall biting its own master in the leg...
