Whilst collecting the 1980 brochure, mentioned above, I was told that a beige LT lived over the road.

I did not ask for internal pictures, a little intrusive I find, but the chap, late 50s, had owned it for eleven years and was very happy with it, apart it was a 2.0ltr petrol. I advised to get onto Brickwerks for parts, and brick-yard for body panels and all round help.

Ely as in near Cambridge? Hell of a way to go for a bike!

Mine is now taxed after a winter of resting, so might be spotted out and about...
Mid engined, 6 cylinder, turbocharged 2 seater - it can only be a VW LT!

True enough Mat, a little disappointed with the 'shop' but really happy with the bike.

I suppose bike rack building thread is on the horizon.

I also saw a Messerschmitt KR200 being towed by a 'box'.

Are you going to put the rohloff on that bike? Be an interesting build if you are. Wouldn't mind seeing a couple of photos when it's finished if you don't mind?

I think I am saving it for Littl'un. She does not have good use of her left arm so I am looking out for a Mountain/Speed/HighSpeed Drive too.Ouch and then a trike to put it all in.

Might even build a plywood recumbent for the hell of it. ShockedCoolGeekWacko Cannot decide which fits best.

I didn't have any idea about rohloff trikes or a plyood recumbent so just had a quick Google. Some of those plwood recumbents are fantastic looking bikes. Real works of art.

I can understand why your not sure which would work best neither is a small undertaking. Though the joy it will bring will no doubt make all the head scratching and cussing quickly disappear. Good luck with it.

Dropped my van off for its MOT (wish me luck!) - Drove past later to see if they'd tested it (which they hadn't) and it was parked in a bit of a line-up which I thought I'd share

LT1, T4, T2, LT2 and right at the back is a T3 - Made me smile.

I saw this in Camden a few weeks ago.

Looks like it's been roller painted with rustoleum and looks very cool.  It inspired me to resurrect my old van.  (see Container Project thread)   How hard can it be I thought................................................  Idiot.

About 12.20 aptly outside Sedgefield Racecourse I saw a mustard coloured LT horsebox. I think it came off the A1/(M). Anybody on here?
