I want to top my roof instead of painting it.
I really want the look of a vinyl snakeskin in cream/tan colour with chrome trim edging. I will be using offcuts to trim the door cards and some small internal panels to match. Has anyone ever tried this before on a T4? I am curious as how to fix the trim securely around the edge i.e. no-nails, rivets, contact adhesive? Where would be the best visual place to stop the vinyl i.e.: just down to the doors or higher up? Will vinyl topping be flexible enough to stretch over the roof ridges on top? Will it be able not to crease on the 4 corners on the roof? Really would appreciate some input and help before i purchase the materials, and make a right mess :/ Anyone got any photo's if they have done this before too please?
